RE: ジェロントロジー・リサーチ・グループ(The Gerontology Research Group)
(10-14-2018, 22:17)Fiskje88 : Hi Ayuta,
In the case of Mr Gerneth, he chooses not to help in having his age validated, so the GRG does not have any documentation for him; this is different from claiming privacy, as he does appear in the media. In the case of Japanese supercentenarians, the Japanese government provides koseki records to validate their ages, even if some people have later preferred anonymity. That is the difference between Mr Gerneth and Japanese supercentenarians, in this case.

I understand ... but I do not know what mean the word "privacy" in this case. Is he or his family dislike that contains his name in the GRG world supercentenarian rankings list?
Anyway, happy 113rd birthday to Mr. Gerneth!. (ゲルネートさん誕生日おめでとうございます!)
